OUSA Frankfurt Branch Conference
How to access the conference
There are two ways to access the Frankfurt branch conference - via
the FirstClass client software or via your web browser. The FirstClass
client is a free software which can be downloaded here.
Instructions on how to install and use the client can be found here.
If can not or do not wish to use the client, you can access FirstClass
through your internet browser. The URL of the FirstClass system
is http://webfc1.open.ac.uk
for server 1, or http://webfc2.open.ac.uk
for server 2. You will be asked to login with your OU Username and
password.
How to find the conference
Once logged in, find the following links or icons to get to the
branch conference:
Open
University > OU
Students Association > OUSA
Live > OUSA
Regions > OUSA
Northern Europe > OUSA
Br Frankfurt. You will need permission to access the branch
conference, which you can apply for as described below. We have
prepared two short instruction videos, which you may download and/or
view here:
How to get permission to access the conference
In order to gain permission for the OUSA Frankfurt Branch conference
send an email to the OUSA Controller requesting access to the OUSA
Frankfurt Branch conference. Make sure to state your OU Student
ID in the email. If you have access to FirstClass on more than one
server, please specify from which server you would like access from,
e.g. oufcnt1.open.ac.uk (server 1) or oufcnt2.open.ac.uk (server
2). You should get access within a few days. Write again if you
don't get access within 14 days. |
