Student cards

Open University Student Identity CardThe OUSA student card will help you to get discounts on various goods and services in Europe (e.g. Museums, computer software, membership fees, transport etc.). Further, it can be used as proof of OU student status when using student union facilities at other universities with whom the OUSA has a reciprocal agreement. As an OU student you can also apply for the NUS and ISIC student cards, which may be useful and more acceptable in some countries.

To get your free OUSA student card, send a self-addressed stamped envelope, a passport-sized photo with your personal Identifier (PI Number) on the back, and a photo copy of any OU document which confirms that your are currently studying at the OU (e.g. academic summary record or similar). To fill out the application form you will also need to know your catchment area. This is displayed on your personal details page on student home. Download one of the application forms below and send everything together with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to:

Once your application has been received, your student card will be sent to you as soon as possible.
