Aims and objectives
Our main objective is to provide an apolitical and independent support
service for the issues and concerns of fellow students within the
Frankfurt catchment area. In addition, we would like to provide
a sense of belonging to the local OU student community. We are part
of the network of other OUSA groups that operate in the UK and Europe.
OUSA branches are a membership organisation run by student volunteers.
The aims and objectives contained in the association's constitution
are:
- to foster a corporate identity for its student members
- to defend principles of equal opportunity and open access for
students
- to co-ordinate the organisation of social activities for student
members
- to promote and represent educational interests of the University
- to promote students influence upon operation and development
of the OU
